This year’s Bastille day is on Thursday 14th July. To celebrate, Alliance Française is organizing a BBQ on Saturday July 16th at the waterfront park adjacent to Gosford Sailing Club. Starting time is 11.30 in the morning. We will put up the AFCC Marquee plus table. There are BBQs on site, however feel free to bring your own, as we may have some non-AFCC competition for the burners. If the weather turns against us according to the weather bureau forecast we may cancel. You will find details on this site on the Friday before. À bientôt!
AFCC deplores the senseless loss of lives, injury and grief suffered by the people of Paris on Friday.
We wish to express our sincere sympathy and solidarity towards all French people on the Central Coast.
Whilst the hapless victims were in Paris, this crime affects not just the French people, but this crime against humanity affects all of us as well.
We grieve with them.
